Come take a bath with us and Liquid Television!
March?s theme is LIQUID. Be it an ocean, a puddle or a glass of water, liquid has the potential to nourish or destroy us. From beverages to bodily fluids, from poisons to acids, from being submerged to floating on the surface, the only limit
to your animated interpretation is your imagination.
For those of us who grew up in the nineties, Liquid TV was the program that shook the cobwebs off animated entertainment and opened our minds to the possibilities of what could be made within this magical art-form.
And now Liquid Television ? MTV?s pivotal animation series that brought us Aeon Flux and Beavis and Butthead ? is back with a whole new lineup. Check out full episodes of the classic MTV animation you miss plus new stuff from Chadwick Whitehead, Julia Pott, and more at liquidtelevision.com.
Liquid Television: An Alternative to the Reality.
They?ll be promoting their favourite liquid loops throughout the month so it could be a great opportunity for you to gain some international exposure!
If that?s not enough to get you motivated they?ve also provided us with a glorious prize pack of goodies for both the winner and runner up!
The submission rules are simple;
- it must be made by you,
- it must suit the month?s theme,
- it must be engaging,
- it must be submitted in one of our specified formats,
- it must not contain pornographic material, incite hatred or include defamatory or discriminatory content,
- it has to loop!
- in the spirit of Liquid Television we are looking for fresh new independent work, so
as tempting as it is please avoid making parodies or tributes to past MTV characters.
Selected loops will be posted within five days of submission for everyone to enjoy, comment and rate, and all posted loops will screen at Loop on Tuesday March 27th from 7:30pm.
Submissions close at Midnight on Sunday the 25th of March.
